Michael Jordan
With over a decade of experience working with young people, my diverse background combined with my own experiences sets me apart from other coaches.
Over the years I have held various positions working directly with youths including my time as a high school rugby coach and at Westhaven Community Centre in NDG. I also played competitive sports including rugby for Concordia University.
Being a young person today is not easy. We often feel unheard or dismissed. We won't achieve our goals if we lack inspiration or motivation. Not only am I an advocate for addressing mental health issues among my generation, I can also understand how it feels being on the other side of the chair.
My name is Keyon Cyrus and I am a Life Coach for young people. I focus on the 16 to 21 age group (or Secondary 4 to first year university students) as these are pivotal years in one's life.
I am currently in my final year at Concordia University and am an Educator at Batshaw Youth and Family Centres.
I decided to become a coach to make a difference in the lives of teens and young adults going through similar situations as I did. My past experiences combined with my life coach training make me the ideal professional to help individuals focus and progress to achieve their goals.
My mission is to help my peers stay the course by providing actionable steps in a tone and language they can relate to.
